Rules | Conditions

In the Cases part of the rule you can define sets of conditions that trigger a set of actions.

Choose Metrics and Conditions

Define the performance metrics and conditions that will trigger one or multiple actions. Each condition consists of:

  • Metric: The specific parameter being measured (e.g., CTR, Spend, Cost per Result)

  • Timeframe Selection: Define a specific range, such as the last 7 days or yesterday

  • Comparison Operator: How the metric is compared to a value (e.g., <, >, =)

  • Value: The number or target threshold used for comparison

Create a case with "AND" logic

If you select a conversion-related metric (e.g., CPA or Conversions), you will also be prompted to choose an Attribution Window (e.g., 7-day click, 1-day view) to align with your performance evaluation.

Comparing Metrics Across Timeframes

You can compare a metric between two distinct timeframes to analyze trends and make rules that adapt to performance changes.

  1. Select the desired metric (e.g., CTR, Spend, Conversions).

  2. In the condition settings, choose the timeframe (e.g., Yesterday)

  3. Specify the 2nd timeframes to compare with (e.g., Last 7 Days).

  4. Set the comparison operator (e.g., increase, decrease, or percentage difference).

Using OR Logic

You can combine multiple conditions with OR logic to create more flexible rules. This allows the rule to trigger the case-specific actions if any of the specified conditions are met.

Note that cases are organized by priority. If an item matches the first case it will be ignored in the second and any further cases.

  1. After defining your first condition, click +Add Case

  2. Set select the different metrics, comparison operators, and value

  3. Repeat this process for additional OR conditions if needed.

Add an additional case "OR" condition

Use the Preview feature to see the rule in natural language, helping you understand how the rule will behave when triggered. The preview writes out the rule as a sentence, summarizing the metric, conditions in an easy-to-understand format.
