Reference: Asset Storage Integrations
Standard Creative Asset Integrations
- GDrive
- Dropbox
In order to support teams that don't rely on GDrive and Dropbox, we've built new integrations that natively allow users to select files from these asset storage providers:
- Frame
- Iconik
- Frontify
Frame is available for all Team & Pro plan customers, while Iconik and Frontify are currently available on request. Please reach out to support@kitchn.io, or via the chat window (on-platform)
GDrive
We have built a powerful and seamless GDrive integration as our default / preferred Asset Storage Solution. This may be easily set up through the Integrations tab in your Kitchn.io space. Please take note of the following:
- Ensure only one Google account is connected: If you have more than one Google account linked, this may cause conflicts. Please disconnect all additional accounts and make sure only one Google account is connected.
- Multiple Google Drive accounts are not supported. Kitchn.io currently does not support multiple Google Drive account integrations. Having more than one may lead to folder/asset visibility issues, or unexpected behavior during asset uploads.
Need access to assets from multiple sources? We recommend creating or using a single, centralized Google Drive account. From there, you can share all relevant folders and assets from other accounts into the main one — and use that centralized account to connect to Kitchn.
Dropbox
Dropbox is also available as a preferred Asset Storage integration across all Launch Plans. From the integration tab on-platform, please sign in to your Dropbox account, and connect as the integration through the required actions.
Frame
NB: As it is currently difficult to decipher which version of Frame is being used, please connect to both our Frame 'Legacy' and Frame V4.
FRAME Legacy (V3): We connect to Frame.io via it's API (V3, also known as "Legacy"). In order to use the integration, you have to create a Token, and add it into Kitchn:
1. Navigate to https://developer.frame.io/app/tokens 2. Click 'Create a token' 3. Add a description (e.g. "Kitchn.io") and select these scopes:
- Accounts: read
- Teams: read
- Projects: read
- Assets: read
4. Scroll all the way down and hit Submit. 5. Copy the token 6. Navigate to the Frame.io integration page within Kitchn and click Connect 7. Paste the token from step (5) Now you'll be able to select Frame.io in the Launch Sheet setup
FRAME V4: It is important to follow the set up steps when creating the integration - if not done correctly, the integrations may appear as 'connected' and correct, but will not function as expected.
